I figured that here would be as good a place as any to explain why I don’t have comments enabled on this site.

If you really, really want to have a lengthy conversation with what I’m saying, posting your own response to your own blog is, in my humble opinion, pretty much the only way to go. I’m a little old-school, having started a geocities literary review site when I was in high school (back when geocities was, you know, *popular*), and in my day, we didn’t have comments! We had to craft our own html by hand! With font tags! And brackets! On both ends! Which is a roundabout way of saying that I’m lazy and don’t want to respond to comments about this site in any other way than through a post or through email. Sorry.
